Steamboat Real Estate Market Gets a Healthy Jolt

An interesting thing happened this Valentines Day.  In one day there were 7 contracts written on homes ranging in price from $875 to $1.3 million. This is a real boost to the #Steamboat real estate market giving it a healthy jolt for the start of the spring market.

This was not simply multiple homes in a single development but ran the entire Steamboat market from Walton Creek road to Tree Haus to Fish Creek Falls and Downtown.

We are unlikely to see this type of anomoly again in the near future as there is limited inventory out there but it bodes well for the luxury market as a whole as it gives creedance to our message that the value in high end real estate is much greater than many of our competitors like Vail, Telluride and Aspen and consumers have figured it out.

Like all markets, when the deals are gone the prices will rise. I think many consumers out there have figured this out and are looking at buying up what is left of the low hanging fruit before the enevitable happens and prices start going back up.
